Reger and tonality

Reger is found teaching organ and composition in Leipzig in 1907, and worked as cappel-meister until 1914. He was neoclassical because the way he deals with tonality, in its later and degenerated forms. His treaty about modulation, where he exemplifies the modulation to every other key is a mark of his neoclassical thinking.

Max Reger, musical discoverings

German composer, he has a collection of small works for the piano, and I am very fortunate in having a lot of them.
