New Tonara store

This week, I was impressed with the new look of the Tonara store which is of a piece with a fine catalogue with clear and appealing information. They are including several new categories of scores such soundtracks, Disney, pop, etc.

How nice to hear Bartók himself playing his own compositions. The Balcanic cultures are present in every of his melodies.

On Thursdays...

Well, it is a challenge for me to upload new pieces by Bartók every week. Although recording Bartók ain't a maiden speach, this could be a refreshing experience. Bartók made dozens of fantastic small pieces for piano, as Ten Easy Pieces Sz39, Mikrokosmos, For Children. Even a mature pianist find interesting to work with these little challenges.
